that will be held on October 3- 5, 2013
hosting by the Szent István University in Gödöllö, Hungary

 

Important dates:

Registration and abstract submission:  June 23, 2013
Notification of authors: June 30, 2013
Full paper submission and registration fee payment: July 31, 2013
Registration fee 130 EUR covers the conference participation, conference package, conference lunches and gala dinner.

Topics will cover:

- Multifunctionality, agriculture and agrarian policy
- Multifunctionality, regional development and regional policies
- Sustainability, business and tourism
- Economic growth, technology for sustainability and environmental concerns
- Biodiversity, biotechnologies and sustainable growth
- Ethics for a sustainable society, food safety and nutrition, CSR and social marketing concept
- Other topics related to the conference theme.

Among the publishing opportunities for the best selected papers presented at the event there will be special issues of Visegrad Journal on Bioeconomy and Sustainable Development, to be published by the Slovak University of Agriculture and the Visegrad University Association, the Acta Regionis Rurum, to be published by the Szent István University and an on-line journal, named as Studia Mundi – Economica, to be published by the Szent István University.

Moreover, VISEGRAD PRIZE for the best articles will be introduced during the event. We strongly encourage doctoral students, young researchers and their supervisors to attend this pilot Visegrad doctoral symposium.

As the keynote speakers we will be honoured to welcome among us prof. Dr. John L. Stanton, Editor in chief of the International Journal of Food and Agribusiness Marketing from Saint Joseph's University, Philadelphia, USA.
